I can develop a basic informational website for as little as
£250. The development of a more sophisticated website
will, of course, cost more. It all depends on your requirements
- which I won't know until I talk with you. You can provide
us your own text, graphics, and photographic ajp_images - or I can
develop these for you. When completed, I guarantee a website
that will convey a positive, professional image of your business/group.
Domain Name Registration & Website Hosting
Regarding your business’s domain name registration and
your completed website’s hosting, I can help walk you
through the entire process, with you choosing the registrar
and hosting service, or I can recommend the most cost-effective
entities for these services. Alternatively, I can facilitate
these actions by doing them for you. The choice is yours. My
goal is to make the process as simple and inexpensive as possible.

* If I am entering your text, photos etc then this can take
upto 2 weeks
Pricing
Unlike other companies who provide this type of service, I do
not charge an amount 'per page' i.e. £95 for 1 web page,
£125 for 2 web pages etc. I charge a flat fee of £250
to create your website! Obviously if you would like me to arrange
your domain name registration and web hosting for you, then
these are additional 3rd party costs, however I DO NOT add any
extra to these prices for doing it for you! This helps keep
the cost of creating you a professional looking website to the
minimum!
Each Web Site Includes:
1. Email forwarding to your existing email account using your
choice of address, e.g. enquiries@yourchoicename.co.uk
2. Your website hosted on a fast, reliable commercial server
(better than 99.9% up time)
3. Ease of adding further web pages of your own design
4. Visitor counter
5. Yearly hosting, domain name renewal and maintenance charges
irrespective of the number of web pages.
6. Website submission to top search engines
7. Sorry - I cannot supply shopping carts and credit card payment
facilities for your website. I can only provide web site hosting
for the sites I design.
What we need from you:
1. Design
You design how your site will look like - where your text, drawings,
navigation links, and photos will be positioned. Then mail or
email these design layout sheets to me and I will do the rest.
If you email your design please send it as an attachment, ideally
in PDF format. Otherwise you can send your attachment in Microsoft
Word format.
2. Material
Please supply me with your text and graphics (drawings, logo,
photos, etc.) in electronic form (e.g. sent individually by
email attachment or put on or a CD and posted to me). If you
do not have the capability to supply your graphics in electronic
form, simply enclose them with your paper layout sketch of your
site and I will scan them (as is) for you at no extra charge.
I can electronically resize your photos to suit your web page.
Photos on your page can be clicked on ('clickable' photos) and
made to appear enlarged on a separate page - there is a charge
of £10 per photo for this service.
The text, however, does need to be in electronic form (sent
by email or on a CD). If you do not have this facility we will
accept good typed copy which we will translate into electronic
text for you. There is a charge of £15 per A4 typed sheet
for this service.
3. Deposit
Please send a deposit (cheque payable to A J Poulton) equal
to one third of the total cost when you send me your materials.
I can then set up your site to view on my preview website. When
you are happy with your web site please forward the balance
and I can register your domain name and set up your site with
visitor counter.
